I have been praying for over a year for someone to disciple me. I have longer for a closer walk with the Lord, and today is that day. My D-Bible Study begins tonight with Vickey Weeks and the leader. The following friends will also be part of this group: Sondra, Haley, Shelia, and Patsy.
I am trying to find an online prayer journal to record my prayers and prayer requests. So far, I have found a possible website, but for now I will use this blog. After all, I am on a journey to find God in a more "personal" way. I want an intimate relationship with my Savior and Lord, where He is in complete control of my life. I have already taken the first step by surrendering myself completely to the Lord. He is LORD of my life. He is the LOVE of my life. I have only taken a "baby" step toward becoming the Christian I was born to be. My heart's desire is that I will listen to God, obey His Word, fight the good fight, and finish the race.
